This legal notice provides the general information that Article 10 of Spanish Law 34/2002 of 11 July on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (the **"LSSI"**) requires a service provider to make available, for the Serenity Edge service and for the website `docs.serenityedge.ai` (the **"Website"**). ## 1\. Identification of the service provider The Website and the Serenity Edge service are operated by: - **Company name:** Substrate Artificial Inteligence, S.A. (**"Substrate AI"**). - **Legal form:** public limited company (sociedad anónima) incorporated under the laws of Spain, whose shares are listed on BME Growth. - **Tax identification number (NIF):** A98306228. - **Registered office:** Avenida Real Fábrica de Sedas 28, 45600 Talavera de la Reina (Toledo), Spain. - **Commercial Registry:** registered with the Commercial Registry of Toledo, Section 8, Sheet TO-48960, unique registry identifier (IRUS) 1000310248756. - **Email address:** [contact@substrate.ai](mailto:contact@substrate.ai), which is the address for every notice, request or complaint relating to the Website or the service, including requests relating to personal data. - **Website:** [https://docs.serenityedge.ai](https://docs.serenityedge.ai/). The activity of Substrate AI is not subject to a prior administrative authorisation regime, and Substrate AI does not exercise a regulated profession for the purposes of Article 10.1(d) of the LSSI. ## 2\. Purpose of the Website and of the service The Website is the public documentation of **Serenity Edge**, the inference API operated by Substrate AI, which allows its customers to send requests to large language models served from Substrate AI's infrastructure in Spain through an interface compatible with the OpenAI Chat Completions API. The Website describes how to access the API, the models available, the published prices and limits, and the legal documents that govern the service. Access to the Website is free of charge and does not require registration. The Serenity Edge service itself is a paid service governed by the [Terms of Service](https://docs.serenityedge.ai/terms/terms-of-service/), which also incorporate the [Acceptable Use Policy](https://docs.serenityedge.ai/terms/acceptable-use/) and, for commercial customers, the [Data Processing Agreement](https://docs.serenityedge.ai/terms/data-processing-agreement/). The prices of the service, expressed per million tokens and stated in United States dollars, are published on the [Pricing and limits](https://docs.serenityedge.ai/docs/pricing-and-limits/) page; where the price list does not state otherwise, prices shown for business customers are exclusive of applicable taxes. Serenity Edge can be contracted through a Serenity Star account, operated by Subgen AI Spain, S.L. (NIF B40656274, Calle Colón 8, Puerta 2, 46004 Valencia, Spain), a group company of Substrate AI; through third-party routers and marketplaces that offer it as one of their providers or resell it, and that contract with their own users under their own terms; or directly with Substrate AI under an enterprise contract. The platforms on which Serenity Edge is available, and those on which its onboarding is in progress, are listed on the [Routers and marketplaces](https://docs.serenityedge.ai/docs/access/channels/) page. The Terms of Service explain what each route entails. ## 3\. Conditions of use of the Website By accessing the Website, you agree to use it in accordance with this legal notice, the applicable law and good faith. In particular, you undertake not to use the Website for purposes that are unlawful or that damage the rights or interests of third parties; not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, its servers or the systems connected to it; not to introduce viruses or malicious code; and not to reproduce or scrape the Website in a way that exceeds the permitted use described in section 4. Substrate AI may modify the content, structure and presentation of the Website at any time, and may suspend or discontinue access to it, without prior notice, without prejudice to the notices required by the Terms of Service for changes to the service itself. ## 4\. Intellectual and industrial property The Website, including its text, structure, design, graphics, logos, diagrams, code samples and the OpenAPI specification of the API, is owned by Substrate AI or by third parties who have licensed their content to Substrate AI, and is protected by Spanish and international intellectual and industrial property law. All rights are reserved except as expressly stated below. "Serenity Edge", "Orion" and the associated logos are trade names and trade marks of Substrate AI, whether registered or not. "Serenity Star" is a trade mark used by Subgen AI Spain, S.L. Other product names mentioned on the Website, such as OpenAI, Microsoft Azure, Cloudflare, Qwen and the names of third-party routers and marketplaces, are the marks of their respective owners, which are not affiliated with Substrate AI, and are used only to identify the corresponding products, services or models. You may view, download and print the pages of the Website for the purpose of evaluating, integrating and using Serenity Edge. You may copy and adapt the code samples published in the Documentation for the purpose of integrating the API into your own applications. Any other reproduction, distribution, public communication, transformation or extraction of the content of the Website, in whole or in part, requires the prior written authorisation of Substrate AI. The open-weight models that Serenity Edge serves are owned by their respective authors and are subject to the licences identified in the Documentation; the Website does not grant any right in those models beyond the rights those licences confer. ## 5\. Liability Substrate AI takes reasonable care to keep the Website accurate and up to date, but the documentation describes a service that evolves, and Substrate AI does not warrant that the Website is free of errors or omissions. The binding description of the service, its prices and its data policy is the one contained in the Terms of Service, the Data Processing Agreement and the Privacy Policy in force at the time of use; the other pages of the Website are informative. Substrate AI does not warrant that the Website will be available without interruption. It may be unavailable for maintenance, because of failures of the networks or providers on which it depends, or for security reasons. To the extent permitted by law, Substrate AI is not liable for damages arising from the unavailability of the Website, from the use of its content or from the reliance placed on it, without prejudice to the liability that cannot be excluded under Spanish law, including liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, and to the rights that consumers hold under Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007. The liability of Substrate AI in respect of the Serenity Edge service itself is governed by the Terms of Service. The Website contains links to third-party websites, such as third-party routers and marketplaces, Serenity Star, the authors of the open-weight models and the European Commission. Those websites are not operated by Substrate AI, which does not control their content and is not responsible for it, for their availability or for their treatment of personal data. Links are provided for information only and do not imply endorsement. ## 6\. Personal data and cookies Substrate AI processes the personal data of the visitors of the Website and of the users of Serenity Edge as described in the [Privacy Policy](https://docs.serenityedge.ai/terms/privacy-policy/). Where a commercial customer sends personal data to the API in its requests, Substrate AI processes that data on the customer's behalf under the [Data Processing Agreement](https://docs.serenityedge.ai/terms/data-processing-agreement/). The technologies used on the Website, including cookies, are described in the [Cookie Policy](https://docs.serenityedge.ai/terms/cookie-policy/). ## 7\. Codes of conduct and dispute resolution Substrate AI has not adhered to any code of conduct for the purposes of Article 10.1(g) of the LSSI, nor to the Spanish Consumer Arbitration System or to any other accredited alternative dispute resolution body. Consumers located in the European Union may consult the alternative dispute resolution bodies available in their country in the European Commission's directory at [https://consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu/dispute-resolution-bodies](https://consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu/dispute-resolution-bodies). The European Online Dispute Resolution platform ceased to operate on 20 July 2025 under Regulation (EU) 2024/3228 and can no longer be used. ## 8\. Applicable law and jurisdiction This legal notice and the use of the Website are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute arising from the use of the Website shall be submitted to the courts of the city of Madrid, Spain, without prejudice to the mandatory forum that the law grants to consumers, who may bring proceedings before the courts of their place of residence and may only be sued there. ## 9\. Changes to this legal notice Substrate AI may update this legal notice to reflect changes in its corporate details, in the Website or in the applicable law. Each version is published on the Website with its version number and revision date, and the change is recorded in the [Legal document changelog](https://docs.serenityedge.ai/terms/changelog/).
