This policy describes the cookies and similar technologies used on docs.serenityedge.ai (the "Website"), operated by Substrate Artificial Inteligence, S.A., in accordance with Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce and the guidance of the Spanish Data Protection Agency. It does not apply to the Serenity Edge API, which is used by software and sets no cookies, nor to the websites of Serenity Star or of third-party routers and marketplaces, which have their own cookie policies.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device when you visit it, so that the website can recognise your browser on later requests. Similar technologies include local storage entries, which a website can write in your browser without sending them to a server, and pixels or scripts that measure how a page is used. Cookies and similar technologies are "strictly necessary" when the website cannot work without them, and are "non-necessary" when they serve analytics, personalisation or advertising purposes. Spanish law requires your consent before non-necessary cookies are set.
2. Cookies and similar technologies used on this Website
The Website sets no analytics, personalisation or advertising cookies. The only technologies it uses are the following:
- Security cookies set by Cloudflare. The Website is served through the edge network of Cloudflare, Inc., which protects it against automated attacks. Cloudflare may set cookies on your browser for that purpose, for example to distinguish human visitors from automated traffic during a security challenge. These cookies are strictly necessary for the security of the Website, are set by Cloudflare under its own privacy policy, do not identify you personally and expire within a short period. Cloudflare documents on its own website the cookies it may set.
- Local storage for your display preferences. The Website stores in your browser's local storage your choice of colour theme (light or dark) and the state of the navigation, so that the Website looks the same on your next visit. These entries never leave your browser, contain no personal data and are strictly necessary to provide the preference you have chosen.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics. The Website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people visit it and which pages they read. This service is cookieless: it sets no cookie, stores nothing on your device, does not fingerprint your browser and reports only aggregated figures. It therefore does not require your consent.
Because none of these technologies requires consent, the Website does not display a cookie banner.
3. If this changes
If Substrate AI introduces a technology that requires consent, such as an analytics service that sets cookies, a search service or a chat widget that tracks visitors, this policy will be updated before it is deployed, a consent banner will be shown, and no such cookie will be set until you have accepted it. The change will be recorded in the Legal document changelog.
4. How to manage cookies
You can delete cookies and local storage entries, and block cookies from being set, through the settings of your browser. The help pages of each browser explain how. Blocking the security cookies described above may prevent the Website from loading during a security challenge.
5. Personal data
To the extent that the technologies described here involve personal data, such as the IP address that Cloudflare processes to protect the Website, the Privacy Policy explains how Substrate AI processes it and how you can exercise your rights.
