This is a working draft. It has no Serenity Star equivalent: the corresponding obligations sit inside section 8 of the Serenity Star Terms of Use. It is pending legal review and is not yet in force.
This policy will set out what may not be done with Serenity Edge. It forms part of the Terms of Service. Outline of the final document:
1. Prohibited uses
Illegal activity; content that harms or exploits minors; harassment, threats and incitement to violence; generation of malware or facilitation of cyberattacks; fraud, spam and deceptive impersonation; unauthorised processing of personal data; uses prohibited by Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the AI Act), including the practices listed in its Article 5.
2. High-risk and regulated uses
Obligations of the Customer when the Outputs feed a high-risk AI system under the AI Act; medical, legal and financial advice; automated decisions with legal effects on individuals; human oversight.
3. Technical restrictions
No circumvention of rate limits or authentication; no sharing of API keys across organisations; no attempts to extract model weights or training data; no denial-of-service traffic; no resale of raw API access without an agreement.
4. Transparency towards end users
Disclosure that content is AI-generated where the law or the context requires it.
5. Enforcement
Warnings, suspension and termination under section 13 of the Terms of Service; reporting of abuse to [email protected].
