This is a working draft adapted from the Serenity Star Terms of Use. It has not been reviewed by Legal and is not yet in force.
These Terms of Service will govern the use of Serenity Edge, the OpenAI-compatible inference API provided by Substrate Artificial Inteligence, S.A. ("Substrate AI"), available at https://api.serenityedge.ai/v1. What follows is the outline of the sections the final document will contain, following the structure of the Serenity Star Terms of Use.
Preamble
- Our Services: description of Serenity Edge (the API, the model catalogue, the documentation) and of the three access routes: OpenRouter, a Serenity Star account, and an enterprise contract.
- Parties: Substrate Artificial Inteligence, S.A., NIF A98306228, Avenida Real Fábrica de Sedas 28, 45600 Talavera de la Reina (Toledo), Spain, and the Customer.
- What these Terms cover: the API and the documentation; the Data Processing Agreement for Commercial Customers; the Acceptable Use Policy; Additional Terms for enterprise contracts.

6. Inputs and Outputs
Ownership of Inputs and Outputs; zero retention of prompts and completions; no training on Customer data; retention of request metadata for 90 days; Outputs are generated by a machine and must be reviewed before reliance; similarity of Outputs across customers.
7. Fees, billing and payment
